We are delighted today to launch Scotland’s AI Strategy

Our friends at the Democratic Society made a brilliant video about the public engagement programme they designed and delivered for us during the strategy development process.

On 25 November 2020, the Democratic Society held an online panel event to share their insights into their findings during the engagement process for the development of an AI Strategy for Scotland.

As 2020 draws to a close, and we reflect on progress in developing Scotland’s AI Strategy, it felt appropriate to frame our reflections in a similarly spirited way. We look back on the the work that we’ve done this year, what we’re working on and what we look forward to coming next year.

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we are extending the deadline for responding to the public consultation to 22 May 2020.

The document, The AI of the Possible: Developing Scotland’s AI Strategy, is intended to be a provocation, to stimulate discussion and response from the people and organisations of Scotland.
