This year the Transformation Design cohort at The Glasgow School of Art embarked on an exciting new partnership with Calum McDonald, Engagement and Participation at the Scottish AI Alliance (SAIA) on an exciting design project exploring the impacts of generative AI (gen-AI) and the climate crisis.

The Scottish AI Alliance is delighted to announce the re-launch of its free online course, Living with AI, designed to get the people of Scotland engaged, interested and informed about what artificial intelligence (AI) is and how its impact on our daily lives.

Ahead of the relaunch of the Scottish AI Alliance’spublic AI literacy programme, Living with AI, this blog presents a compelling case for AI literacy as a critical driver of economic prosperity, its role in addressing skills shortages in the tech sector and beyond, and the strategic importance of broad sectoral support for programmes focused on AI literacy.
