CySpace Capability Mapping Workshop

  • Edinburgh Climate Change Institute High School Yards Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 1LZ United Kingdom (map)

NCC UK are hosting regional workshops to contribute towards a UK-wide mapping exercise of space domain awareness and cyber security capabilities during the Summer 2025. Each workshop will identify key cyber and SDA capabilities, and map them to the Requirement Catalogue.

Space Domain Awareness isn’t just about tracking objects in orbit. It also involves:

  •  Autonomous detection of threats and anomalies across complex space and cyber systems

  • AI-enhanced situational awareness using satellite data, ground telemetry, and multi-source fusion

  • Machine learning for real-time decision-making and cyber defence at the edge

  • Resilience planning using data modelling, simulations, and AI risk scoring

Scotland’s AI community is building many of the tools and capabilities the UK will need to secure its space infrastructure. This workshop is a chance to:

  •  Map your capabilities to a UK SDA and cyber security requirements catalogue

  • Connect with space, cyber, and supply chain partners

  • Influence how AI is applied to the UK’s future space resilience strategy
