  • Charlotte has over 20 years’ IT experience spanning software development, design & architecture through to data & analytics. She currently manages the Data Engineering team at Aize, building digital twin collaboration workspaces for customers in heavy asset industries. Her early career was in the Financial Services industry developing Java enterprise applications before moving more towards developing solutions for data and improving data governance. Since completing an MSc in Data Science in 2019 she has focused on building data/AI solutions, both to improve productivity and be an enabler to allow people to focus on the value-add activities of their role. She is passionate about data and how data science/AI can help people improve the way they work together.

  • Professor Lesley Anderson is Chair in Health Data Science at the University of Aberdeen. She was previously Deputy Director of the Northern Ireland Cancer Registry and a Senior Lecturer at Queen’s University Belfast. Professor Anderson has over 20 years experience in research utilising healthcare data. She has established international partnerships within the USA, Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia to facilitate research in the fields of health data science and public health with a focus on cancer research. Professor Anderson was Academic Lead for the Industrial Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Digital Diagnostics (iCAIRD) for Grampian, a £25 million programme of research bringing together 40 academic, NHS and industrial partners. Professor Anderson is leading AI evaluations at the University of Aberdeen and working to improve health care through Health Data Science research.
